Thinking Day

A big Thanks to Brooke (Brecken's mom) for bringing all our stuff and running our Japan table. She did a wonderful job and took a huge load off of me for the night! And thanks to all the other parents that stayed and helped with everything else!
I think the girls had a good time and learned a lot about several different countries and enjoyed being with all the Girl Scouts in Rock Springs.

Don't forget about our cookie booth outside of Smiths on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 1-5PM. We need all the girls we can get. (they don't need to stay for the entire time, just bring them for the first hour the middle or the last hour or two-whatever works for you).

Recycling Center Tour

We learned what to recycle, how it's done, and what they turn the recycled material into. I think the girls liked watching the bailer best and the pigeons flying around the warehouse. This tour earned the girls their green petal-Use Resources Wisely.

Valentine's Party!

I think the girls had a great time at the Valentine's party! They painted their nails, made valentines, made heart picture frames with a picture of their troop in the middle, made heart bunnies, played Valentine Bingo, passed out valentines, and played a group game that ended with all of them inside one hola hoop. There was tons of yummy food-thank you everyone that brought food and other supplies! Each girl went home with a giant bag of Valentines from their friends and a giant smile on their faces!

Flat Stacies to Japan

Our flat Stacie's and letters are on their way to Japan. I think this will be fun to learn more about Japan from a Girl Scout Troop living there!
