Rock Springs Cemetery

We picked a beautiful night to go to the cemetery. I think the girls had a great time. They loved picking a grave to put their flower on and finding neat pictures on the headstones to color onto their paper. We talked about respect and why we celebrate Memorial day. Besides the excited running from grave to grave the girls were very respectful... well until the sprinklers turned on!

The Pretzel Maker

The girls had a blast making their own pretzels at the Pretzel Maker! They rolled out their own dough baked them and enjoyed eating them. They also enjoyed running around the mall and going into the hurricane machine nearby.

screaming and laughing in the hurricane!-

Flat Stacies From Japan

Okay, so all the girls have received a flat Stacie from a Girl Scout in Japan. We will keep these till the end of July. The girls are in charge of taking care of these so we can mail them back unharmed. For the next few months bring your flat Stacie with you whenever you do something fun, interesting, or exciting. Remember to take a picture and to write about it. Then in July we will send the flat Stacies back to Japan with pictures and letters about where they have been!
I have about 7 extra Stacies so if any of your girls want to take two let me know!

Honest and Fair, Considerate and Caring, and Mothers

The girls did a fabulous job earning their honest and fair petal. I hit a bunch of eggs and only gave them one insturuction-be fair. The girls found them all and got in a circle and evenly distributed everything all on their own.
The secret pals was a huge hit! All the girls wanted to know if we could draw names again (I said maybe in a couple months).
The girls also enjoyed finger painting a card for the mothers.
