Bridging to Brownies

Even though it rained and we had to construct a bridge out of foam mats, we had a pretty good Bridging to Brownies Ceremony. Thank you to the Crofts for letting us use your house at the last minute!
We reviewed the year by remembering some of the field trips we went on and some things we learned. We had some very yummy food (thanks to everyone who brought it), and we wrote letters to give to a brand new Daisy troop. At the end they all got to cross the "bridge" and get their new Brownie vest.

Making Pizza's at Dominoes

The girls did a great job making their own pizzas! I think all of them like the cheese machine the best. After we made our pizzas and ate them, we had some time left and went to the gas station next door and played 'who will be the first one to find ______(oreos, chapstick, orange juice, etc.)

One Mile hike and Kickball

The girls each got a couple turns to lead our hike. It was hot and they were all troopers. Then we had a fun game of kickball.

Rock Springs Museum

I think everyone's favorite part was the jail! The museum had tons of great history and I think the girls enjoyed learning about it through their scavenger hunt. This will earn them their local history patch.

I was to busy having fun that I forgot to take very many pictures. But I saw all our Girl Scouts at some point through our Lagoon day and I think everyone had a great time. I know we did! If you have any good pictures Email them to me and I will post them!

Rock Springs Cemetery

We picked a beautiful night to go to the cemetery. I think the girls had a great time. They loved picking a grave to put their flower on and finding neat pictures on the headstones to color onto their paper. We talked about respect and why we celebrate Memorial day. Besides the excited running from grave to grave the girls were very respectful... well until the sprinklers turned on!
