Swimming

Before hoping in the pool the lifeguard went over some water safety and then showed the girls how to rescue someone. The rest of the time was spent playing games in the water, laughing, and sitting in the hot tub! I think the girls had a fun time. When Summer comes we will plan many more swimming parties in all the outdoor pools!

Hunsaker Dental

The girls had a fun time at the dentist on Tuesday. Dr. Hunsaker did a wonderful job teaching them about taking care of their teeth, gums, and mouth. The girls got to see all around his office and they loved the fun stuff in the waiting room! They each left with a new toothbrush, flossers, timer, mouth mirror, and a ring. This trip earned them their "Respect Myself" Daisy petal.

Police Station

The girls enjoyed their time at the police station last night. The police officer showed us all around including the indoor shooting range, their old jail cells, the evidence area, records, the detectives area, the interview rooms, etc. I feel like I learned a lot too since I've never been in a police station before.
The girls were going to get their eye's scanned but the software they needed wasn't available so we will be going back at a later date to do that as well as finger printing.
The girls each got a big goodie bag of Rock Springs Police Department gear. We also got to have cupcakes to celebrate Angelique's birthday.
I made the mistake of taking pictures in rooms I wasn't suppose to so they took my camera away to delete any pictures with information in the background-whoops! But here are the pictures they let me keep:

The jail cells, FYI-they don't have bars on them, that's just in the movies.

Cookie Kickoff!

The cookie Kickoff Rally went well and I think the girls had a fun time. They got to play games, make a craft, and eat pudding with crushed up Girl Scout cookies on top. The patches for this event haven't arrived yet so they will get them soon. Also I picked up everyone's cookie selling packets and I will hand them out on Tuesday at the Police Station! (meet at the police station about 6:20 so you can fill out an information form about your child before we start at 6:30 and get some info on what we are doing that night.)
