Juliet Lowe's Birthday Party/Halloween party

I think the girls had a fun time last night. They made 2 cute crafts all about Juliet Lowe, ate spaghetti and cake, played some games, and learned about Juliet Lowe. This helped them qualify for 2 of their try-its! And aren't they so cute!

Volleyball

The girls actually did really well with Volleyball on Thursday. I don't think any of the girls have ever played before, so it was a fun new experience. Jessika Nacey did a great job teaching them the beginning basics. The girls also learned some stretching and how to find their pulse and figure their heartrate with Cammie Pollastro. They are getting close to earning some Brownie 'try-its'

Masks and Candles

The girls did a great job making these candle ornaments (thanks Sara) that will go on the giant Christmas Tree they are cutting down from Wyoming to go to the capital.

They also had fun making these cute, yet slightly creepy masks. Minus a few glue gun burns and some non-washable paint on some shirts it went really well!

Humane Society

The girls loved playing with and petting all the dogs and cats at the Humane Society yesterday. They learned how to approach dogs and what the Humane society is all about.

Home Depot Safety day

I appreciate all the parents and girl scouts that helped on Saturday. It was actually really fun! Besides selling raffle tickets and cookies the girls got to play with the police dog, build boats with the help of the firefighters, eat free pizza and candy, and get a bunch of other fun stuff. In the 3 hours there we raised $270-not to bad!

We will definitely be making thank you cards to Home Depot for donating that really nice grill, setting up our table, giving us the raffle tickets, and making the day so fun for the girls!

Cooking Night

Brooke did a wonderful job with the girls on our cooking night. She let them go at it with cracking dozens of eggs. She taught them how to properly measure and level out flour. Then they made German pancakes in teams. And they were delicious! Thanks Brooke for letting us use your house!!!
